Initiative's goals and main activities 

The goal of the project is to ensure that local community inhabitants be empowered through palm kernel oil production. Furthermore, to create job opportunities for locals where they can afford basic needs such as food, clothing among others. The main activities on this project are collection and drying of kernels in specific locations, mechanical kernel-cracking processes, kernel nuts and shells separation process and kernel pre-drying before oil production process. To note however, kernel nuts and shells separation processes are done manually while kernel cracking and oil production processes are done through mechanical means/ energy.

In order to get to the next level, the project needs:

Currently, my project needs a kernel cracker and separation machine (one set of machine) in order to get to the next level as productivity would increase thus replacing the labor intensive aspects.
